Reciprocating Visit of KAD to Mwanga and Pare Dioceses

Kilimanjaro:7th February 2018. As one of the major key to strengthening internal partnership, Karagwe Diocese has paid a pastoral visit to the dioceses of Pare and Mwanga. All diocesan leaders including district pastors, parish pastors, heads of department and institutions of KAD are now allocated in different congregations and institutions of Mwanga and Pare dioceses. They are providing pastoral ministry as well as engaging into other activities, the aim being to learn from each other and find a better way to address similar challenges. This is reciprocating the visit paid to KAD by the two dioceses in July 2017.

During this pastoral visit, Hon. Bishop Dr Benson Bagonza, laid foundation stones in buildings of Tambarare church district, in the diocese of Pare. He extended his gratitude to the two dioceses for receiving them and grant them with an opportunity to serve in different institutions and congregations. He appreciated the efforts
done by the two dioceses to strengthen the partnership.
Foundation stones have been laid in parishes of Bonde la Ruvu and Hedaru as well. During the Harambee, Dr Bagonza contributed 300,000/=Tsh for supporting construction of church buildings. At the
end of the service in Hedaru, Bishop Bagonza said that “Construction will be finished, even our lives will one day be finished, but the work of the Lord will endure forever”.

A visit will take seven days, and the delegation is expected to begin their journey back on 13th February 2018. KAD would like to extend
sincere gratitude to the dioceses of Mwanga and Pare, for hosting this delegation.
