KAD: 2017 in a Nutshell

KAD: Once again we are approaching the end of the year; KAD will be joining all Christians around the world to celebrate Christmas and New Year. The road from January to December havenít been a straight one, KAD experienced both, moments of joy and moments of sadness, but at the close of another year, we kneel in adoration before Lord, and offer our deepest thanks for everything he has done for us in 2017.

In 2017, KAD lost three pastors, Rev. Joseph Kahungya, Rev. Ferdinand Tibiita and Rev. Eliab Rwenda. Not only pastors but also KAD lost two of its workers in institutions. These are Edither Sylvester and Abela Mambo, may their souls rest in eternal peace, and KAD will forever be grateful for their contribution in proclaiming the gospel. When doubts filled my mind, your comfort gave me renewed hope and cheer (Psalm 94:19).
In 2017 KAD inaugurated Karagwe University College (KARUCO) which is a milestone towards raising the general living standard of the people through agriculture. This went hand in hand with celebrating 500 years of reformation. This far, by faith and grace.

But KAD has also opened new congregations, new parishes, consecrated new church buildings and non church buildings; these are efforts of achieving the main goal of KAD which is building a community with a strong and a stable Christian faith through proclaiming and teaching the word of God.
KAD had also been blessed with different visitations from Tanzania and outside Tanzania. These visitations have brought a strong impact in forming and strengthening partnership. They also provided a chance of sharing spiritual gifts and learning from each other. KAD is thankful for this honor.

Thank You, Father that we arenít seeing the end of 2017 in pieces but with your peace that surpasses all understanding, in Jesusí name.Let this year 2017 end with hope and more blessing to welcome another prosperous year of 2018.
