Behind differences in Faith, there is Common Problems.

NGARA: 14TH Oct 2017. KAD has been playing a great role to promote understanding between different religions or beliefs so as to increase acceptance and tolerance among the people. This has increased Cooperation, constructive, and positive interaction between people of different religion. Last year, interfaith dialogues were conducted in Karagwe and Kyerwa districts, and this year, it was the turn of Ngara administrative district.

Very successful meetings started in mid September, with close collaboration between Ngara District Council and KAD. On 20th September 2017 the first meeting was held. Rev. Anicet Maganya coordinated the meeting. Government leaders were represented by the District Administrative Secretary on behalf of the District Commissioner.

On 14th October (Nyerere Day) interfaith dialogues were completed by a football match between religious leaders and government leaders. As usual, religious leaders won by 1-0, and the goal was scored by Lukaku of that match, no other than Rev. Anicet Maganya.

Through different speeches, the message throughout the interfaith dialogues have been promoting peace, tolerance and cooperation in facing challenges that doesn’t distinguish us by our religious or faith differences.
