Ihembe: On celebrating and welcoming the New Year 2012, Karagwe Diocese has ordained three new pastors in Ihembe Church district on 1st January, 2012. These new pastors are Respina Natson Rugalabamu, Blasio Kibirizi Mganga and Yupo Aron Makoba.
Respina was born on 12th February, 1987, Blasio was born on 12th April, 1982 and while Yupo was born on 14th October, 1986. All of them are from Ihembe parish, and they studied together at the Stefano Moshi Memorial University College where they graduated successfully and awarded a diploma in theology.
The ordination service attended by at least five hundred people was very colorful and it will be the day to remember. Pastors from KAD assisted Bishop Bagonza top ordain the pastors one after another starting with Respina. According to the history of KAD this was the first time to ordain three pastors at once.

The preacher of the day was Rev. Savera Bishanga, the Deputy Executive Secretary for United Evangelical Mission (UEM) Africa Region. Also Rev. Anicet Maganya, who is the coordinator for Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tanzania (ELCT) Advocacy Desk, joined KAD to witness this particular event.
After the service Bishop Bagonza mentioned that now the number of pastors in KAD has risen from sixty seven to seventy. He thanked God for that number and asked all pastors to make sure they perform well in God’s ministry.
