Bishop Bagonza visits Germany

Bishop Bagonza visited Germany from 12th February - 31st March 2009 as a guest of the Evangelical Church in Hesse and Nassau (see NEWS). He took part in the installation of the new Church-President Dr. Volker Jung in the middle of February. After the international partnership consultation on peace, he visited the districts of Nassau, Biedenkopf and Gladenbach. Afterwards he went to Hamburg to see Rev. Brighton Katabaro who is doing his PHD in Theology at the university and other friends of Karagwe.

Bishop Bagonza was finally one of presenters in the global consultation of the Lutheran World Federation (LWF) which took place from 25th to 31st March 2009 in Augsburg, Germany. Over 100 invited theologians from more than 30 countries discussed transformative perspectives and practices of theology in the church of today (see also DOCUMENTATION, April 2009).
