Bweranyange Girls' Secondary School is one of the youngest institutions of the Karagwe Diocese. The school was officially opened on 15th July 2007 with five teachers and five non-teaching staff.

The school’s motto is “It takes a woman to raise a nation”. The school is committed to accomplish the task behind this statement by providing quality knowledge to young girls. The commitments of the staff made the recruiting of new pupils for the year 2008 easier. 120 new students enrolled (form one 2008).
